Lead Modeler

We’re looking for a Lead Modeler to join our team in Tampere, Finland to work on upcoming feature film visual effects.

Particularly, we’re looking for a lead modeler with extensive experience (5+ years) in:

  • Modeling, sculpting and texturing geometry for feature films
  • Production process and pipeline with Maya and ZBrush
  • Leading and guiding junior modelers
  • Shading and look development (Maya/V-ray)
  • Texturing with Substance and/or Mari
  • Packaging assets for Maya, ZBrush, and Houdini pipeline

 

The position is preferably on-site but remote work is also an option. Contract would start in August but the exact start date is open to negotiation. EU residency/work permit required.

 


 

Pipeline TD

We are looking for a Pipeline TD to join our team in Tampere, Finland to help create and develop our pipeline. This position is full-time and in-house.

Particularly, we’re looking for a Pipeline TD with (+2yrs) experience in:

  • Scripting / tool development (knowledge of Maya, Nuke, Hiero, MEL script and Python is required, Houdini is a bonus)
  • Understanding of vfx/3D pipeline. 
  • A general understanding of networking and performance issues that arise with automated tools.
  • Ability and tendency to problem solving and independent tool development according to Supervisor / Lead / Project specifications
  • Prior familiarity with Shotgun / Shotgun Toolkit is a plus

 

We are looking to fill this position full time and asap, but we consider shorter contracts and availability as well. EU residency/work permit required.

 


 

Senior Lighting Artist

We are looking for a Senior Lighting Artist to join our team in Tampere, Finland to light and render out CG elements for feature films. This position is full time and on-site but we are open to considering remote and project-based work also.

Requirements:

  • Experience (5+ years) in Maya and V-ray
  • An understanding of compositing techniques in Nuke 
  • Light / look develop for integration of CG elements
  • Prior experience as lighter for feature films
  • Familiar with animation pipelines, render processes, and composition
  • Works well with short deadlines and fast turnarounds (able to adapt to changing deadlines)
  • Having worked with or have an understanding of Shotgun Software is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with other departments to collect assets and shots forward
  • Ability to break down your shots to layers 
  • Optimize your render set-ups for efficient render farm usage and to improve the quality of results
  • Ability to create lighting / render layer setups to be used by other artists

Senior Look Dev Artist

We are seeking a Senior Look Dev Artist to join our team in Tampere, Finland to finalize assets on upcoming feature films. This position is full time and on-site but we are open to considering remote and project-based work also.

Requirements:

  • Experience (5+ years) in Maya
  • Familiarity with Nuke, Photoshop, Substance Painter / Mari
  • Prior experience creating photo-real elements for feature film
  • Experience in shading, texturing and rendering with V-ray / Maya, especially hard surface models
  • Familiar with animation pipelines, render processes, and composition
  • Works well with short deadlines and fast turnarounds (able to adapt to changing deadlines)
  • Having worked with or have an understanding of Shotgun Software is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Work with modeling / texturing artists to finalize assets (if needed)
  • Create a photorealistic look for assets that match the practical versions under the direction of VFX Supervisor 
  • Work closely with Lighting TD’s and supervisors to ensure that all assets work within the scope of lighting & comp pipeline requirements.

VFX Producer

We’re looking for a VFX producer to join our team in Tampere, Finland to work on upcoming feature film visual effects.

Particularly, we’re looking for a VFX producer with extensive experience in:

  • Producing feature film VFX
  • Client-facing project management
  • VFX workflows, pipelines and turnarounds
  • Managing project budget, overseeing team workflow and production schedule
  • Providing detailed and accurate bids

The position is on-site and full-time but we are happy to consider remote or project-based contracts as well. Contract start date is open to negotiation. EU residency/work permit required.
